I suggest you first check if you have Sleep ["S3 Sleep"] using this command.
PowerCfg -a

I have always found those rundll etc sleep shortcuts awkward. In my S3 Sleep computers, I use a NirSoft NirCmd shortcut to do the job
--------\NirCmd.exe standby
Only my Windows 10 computers have S3 Sleep so I cannot test that command in Windows 11. I bet it works though.

All the best,
Denis

Hello,
I did the test and got this. What next, if any possible. I just need to create a Sleep Shortcut on my Windows 11 desktop. Every code I use shuts it down.

I have been using that.
I would like to have a desktop shortcut.
Try disabling Hibernate... powercfg /hibernate off. Then check if the shortcut now puts the device to sleep.

There is simply no need to keep on struggling like this. On systems that support S3 sleep, my solution just works, and works regardless of whether Hibernate is on. You don't need NirCmd by Nir Sofer, and also you don't need PsShutdown by Mark Russinovich.

Sorry, but am lost here.
In the link, I could not find what would put the Windows 11 to sleep. Is the " --------\NirCmd.exe standby " is not what you are referring to?

Cheers

You can download NirCmd then create a shortcut to
[path to wherever you have stuck NirCmd]\NirCmd.exe standby
on your desktop.

Other solutions exist [Tutorial Option 9, for example]. As I said above, this NirCmd shortcut is the one I use.

All the best,
Denis
