Windows 11 software says I do not meet the requirement, despite having the minimum ones

That is 100% true. Do keep in mind, I shouldn't need to say it since peoples do know but there is an update on the advisor. It should tell you that your processor is not compatible.

They've yet to put in the notice saying it's possible but not advisable.

Yeah, I think they initially made it overly heavy handed for a reason. I have my thoughts on why, but I've spouted enough conspiracy theories for today!

As for TPM - you've enabled (more than likely) a firmwarebased TPM, which a lot of newer motherboards seem to have, despite not being enabled on the fly. Congratz!

If I've flighted previously on the same account and I've clean installed dev, do you think I'll get 11?

John, at least we know that neither of us will get flagged for insufficient RAM. Looks like we both went nuts with 128 GB .

I like your other component choices as well. Sounds like a machine that should serve you well for many years.

According to what's been posted thus far, as long as you've flighted before you should be good. Anyone that tries to join today and flight may be at issue.

But it's all speculation until we get to the actual release. it's been almost 2 years since I flighted an Insider's build live on my hardwre, so I might actually be out of the running. But if I am, I know some kind soul will post the .ISO somewhere so I can do it myself.

Lol yeah. I spent the better part of a month deciding upon components before going live with this post New build in the making.... - Windows 10 Help Forums

I needed the RAM because of the CompTIA VMs for teaching the A+ / Net+ / Security+ courses. Running dual Server VMs with 8 GB RAM allocated just didn't sit well with me, not to mention Kali, 3 virtual connection CL Linux based VMs, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10, and ... a couple others.

When I got done redoing the installation scripts, the servers had 32 GB each, Win10 had 16, 8 had 8, 7 had 4, and the Linux boxes had 2-4 GB depending upon its purpose.

Even then, only total use was around 85 GB RAM, so plenty for me to do other stuff - like run personal VMs too.
