Looks like you only have hard drives.....

Do you not have any ssd in your system?

If they are hard drives, try a different sata cable or sata port.

Make sure they are firmy inserted as well as the power.

If you have an nvme ssd, it is unlikely the connector is loose unless you did not screw it down properly.

Hard drive / ssd failures can act like this..... Download the manufactures tool to test the drive for health failures.

Backup your data.

Get a new ssd ;)

I would also personally remove norton 360 and use windows defender that is built in.

Yes it's HDD... doesn't look like hdd has failed as it runs fine for few hours and when left idle it freezes..

I can check with different sata cable ..but how do I check for power failure...

From hdd third party tools both hdd appears fine... need to check with offical tools

I don't want to format my machine so please don't suggest that.
One has to do what one has to do and use whatever options one has available. Sometimes it comes down to process of elimination and proving what the problem is NOT in order to get to what the problem actually IS. If your issues started as soon as you upgraded to 24h2, that's a good indication something about your machine doesn't gee-haw with 24h2. (incompatible hardware, bad driver, corrupt user account, conflicting software) You can attempt a rollback to 22h2 if you are within the 10 day rollback period. If you ran 24h2 for a while before the problem started, then there is a chance a piece of hardware has gone flaky.

If you have upgraded to 24h2 within the last 10 days you can try rolling back to 22h2 using recovery.

If you have a system image of 22h2 your can restore it. (Hopefully you did not go into a major upgrade without making a system image first.)

Otherwise, like it or not, you can clean install 22h2 or 23h2. (Keep in mind here you never even upgraded to 23h2. You jumped right to 24h2 so who knows if the problem would not have existed in 23h2 as well as 24h2)
We still know nothing about about your cpu. What cpu do you have? You can find it in system information.

I have updated specs but where could I find a program that mentions all the info. CPU-Z?
You could try Speccy. That shows a lot of system information.

Yes it's HDD... doesn't look like hdd has failed as it runs fine for few hours and when left idle it freezes..
that's exactly how some drive failures behave. Especially old HDD's. As the drive spins and as read errors occur on the platter it can cause weird spikes and freezing as it attempts to read. You can check event viewer and search for the keyword event sources related to disk operations like "Disk", "Storport", or "Chkdsk" to identify failure events. If your drives are dying like I suspect, back up your data before you lose it.

I can check with different sata cable ..but how do I check for power failure...
Just make sure the power is fully inserted and not loose. Power failure is unlikely. But try with another power cable from your power supply if you have a free one.

From hdd third party tools both hdd appears fine... need to check with official tools
yes check with the drives brand tool.

Alternatively, test with a clean install of windows on a cheap sata ssd and see if the problem exists there as well. If it does, it's an issue with some other hardware component in your system. You really should not be using hard drives on windows 11 as your system drive anyway. SSD's are so cheap now, (especially sata SSD's) that there is no reason to use bulky old hard drives. Not only are SSD's more reliable, you will get much faster system performance in everything you do.

Check your temps, make sure your fans are all working. You can use speccy as a great way to look at your temps easily. Or hardware info.

With these kind of problems, you need to test each thing until you eliminate/find the issue.

After vacation days, I am back!

Have updated specs using Speccy.. Download Western Digital diagnostic tool and it check for HDD (both short and long duration) and both results were good with no sectors found.

Even using Speccy the HDD status was good and the temperature was 36 degrees which is normal temperature.

Ran the Longer duration diagnostic again and it was stuck followed by PC getting stuck and not responding.

Quite odd......I would try another sata cable. See what happens. Run them again.

I also think you should try the cheap ssd I linked and save yourself some headaches.

Also might be worth doing a mem test:

Also, did you look in event viewer as I suggested for errors around the time it hangs? See what it tells you.

I replaced the cable and the PC worked flawlessly for 36 hours but when I left PC in idle state today it somehow started not responding again (although it responds after few mins and then goes to not responding and then again go backs to responding)
