Windows 11 User icon looks like a regular folder

Hello everyone. I've a problem in desktop icons.

Settings > Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings

I pinned user icon on my desktop but, the user icon looks like a regular folder. This problem is only on my PC. I formatted a lot of computers. After formatting, the user icon looks like a user icon. But it is only on PC. It shows a regular folder.

When I ctrl +, it looks like a user icon but, I don't want to do this.

Default is a manila looking folder just as you see.. Set it to unshow on the desktop from that same page in settings. Then change the icon from that same page to whatever you want it to be. Select the user folder to show on your desktop again.

I understood you but, I can't see the icon here.

Click on a blank area of the desktop, then hold down CTRL and move the mouse scroll wheel very slowly.

Increase the icon size a tiny amount and you should see the correct User folder icon appear.

You can do the same thing in File Explorer also to make the default icons display correctly.

If you look in File Explorer, C:\Users it will show the folder icon because that's what it is, a folder that holds everything for that User.

Default install on new computer, cut one letter from my name, happens when using an E-Mail address during setup.

Creating a Shortcut to that folder should allow changing the icon for it. Choose one in C:\windows\system32\imageres.dll or create your own. A test:
