During the Microsoft Special Event, Microsoft announced Windows 11 version 23H2 will be available September 26, 2023 as a free update.

This will be an optional C update for Windows 11 version 22H2 coming September 26, 2023 at 10 AM CST / 12 PM CST. You will automatically get this update if you have Get the latest updates as soon as they're available turned on. If turned off, it'll be available as an optional update.

Windows 11 version 23H2 won't be available until October 2023 (Q4).

Even after I set everything to United States and English (United States) language, it still won't enable Windows Copilot.

I just tried and it did the same for me as well.

But the second time I opened explorer, it actually started populating images in there, and lasted almost 20 seconds, before crashing again.

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
I hope that someone can help me.

I uninstalled, and then reinstalled cumulative update KB5030310, and now not only that I'm missing all the new features from this feature update, but I'm also missing features from previous update like option to turn on seconds in taskbar clock.

Both configuration updates are installed (previous one that doesn't have KB number, and latest one: KB5030509), and I can't uninstall or reinstall them again.

Is there a fix for this?

When 23H2 is released for general consumption, supposedly in October next month sometime, will the UEFI BIOS "revocations" (those we cannot backpedal from) be included ?

As it stands, although I've done the "Windows Configuration" KB5030509 on both my Win11 laptops, I have deliberately turned off the get-'em-while-they're-hot update option. This is primarily because updates are always fraught (see the number of failures listed in this thread for all the new goodies), so I decided awhile back to allow time for amendments.

So my question above on installing 23H2 ...

Well that was quite anticlimactic!
I hoped is would support at least basic lighting for DDR4 RAM, especially since a large majority use what seems like a similar format (ENE).
Alas I do not have any devices supported, this has been my most anticipated addition to Windows this year - we all have our 'wants' often for reasons beyond the functional 'meat' of the OS, right.

I found resolution in applying the big cleaner BAT "Reset_folder_view_settings_of_all_folders_to_default_for_current_user"
