That's weird, because I have two machines with the same specs and power options (including sleep) and the other one seems fine when doing a full scan.I'm sharing this piece of advice suspecting it doesn't apply to you as much as your typical user. I've found Defender doesn't always finish a FULL scan either, but this is because the sleep settings put the unit to sleep before it's done. MS should simply override that when running a full scan.
Another one of a 1000 details MS seems to miss... because I swear they never use their own OS.
