It wonā€™t break. Not even new builds will modify it. If @Brink wants to make it a ā€œChange Login Screen/Disable Lock Screenā€ tutorial, feel free (I assume heā€™ll read this with it being tagged now).

Hello mate, :alien:

It seems you could just change the lock screen background as usual for what you want to show on the sign-in screen, then disable the lock screen to only see the sign-in screen.

You can but then if you have multiple users or create a new user, you have to redo those steps. If you do it the way I described it will overwrite all users sign in screens so it stays fluent

Too bad the group policy that could do this only applies to devices managed by an organization. :(

To disable the Lock Screen? Nope. I have pro and it works just fine. Also, you can install gp on home with a command too

Ahh yeah. I found that out when I learned this trick. Thatā€™s why I just wrote an elevated batch to do this for me (post setting my chosen Lock Screen), but you need to know your user account sid to know the source for the right image(s)
