Yep that was the first thing I did before I ran the latest Win11 update a couple weeks ago. Also ran defreg and disk cleanup.Go to the HP website, get another copy of the display driver & install it.
While you're there, check for any Bios updates.
I cannot say that driver corruption is the cause of your problem but you have visual misbehaviour & there is no diagnostic test to identify its cause.
