So far nothing that I have read or researched has said anything about how TPM makes a computer more secure unless the drive is physically separated from the TPM protecting it. If someone steals my whole desktop or laptop computer, or hacks into it over a network connection, how is TPM going to be a security benefit? I have not found that answer anywhere.
