Yea I uninstalled all the xbox apps besides gamebar and it no longer shows up in the microsoft store. I just used winget to uninstall anything with xbox in it. then reinstalled gamebar.Did you solve this issue?![]()

Yes, you can also go into powershell and do winget list, and just uninstall everything xbox related, I did reinstall gamebar though right afterwards. Windows Defender gets updated through the Store? Never seen that. But for me they download and "install" fine, just keeps re-appearing after exactly a day has gone.I just had this happen with the XBox app as well as Defender, starting 2 days ago.
It was circling, and if I paused and unpaused, it would simply stay circling. Rebooting didn't do squat.
Just checked today, though, and they were paused as I had left them - unpaused and they went on their merry way and installed the updates.
So, for me, it just fixed itself.
