Xbox game bar plugin and Microsoft people update loop

I did this command get-appxpackage Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay | remove-appxpackage in powershell as admin, and then reinstalled game bar, hopefully it fixes it

So the command below didnt work, it popped up again on the store 1 day later. so now i used winget
winget uninstall "xbox game bar" winget uninstall "xbox game bar plugin" lets see if it works. i also reinstalled xbox game bar after as well. Is xbox game bar necessary for windows 11? like will it cause BSODS if not installed?

Yea I uninstalled all the xbox apps besides gamebar and it no longer shows up in the microsoft store. I just used winget to uninstall anything with xbox in it. then reinstalled gamebar.Did you solve this issue?

I used PowerShell as admin with commands gently posted by you. Should I also use other commands or is it done this way?

Yes, you can also go into powershell and do winget list, and just uninstall everything xbox related, I did reinstall gamebar though right afterwards. I did those two commands you posted above and got rid of other xbox stuff as well.

This started happening to me about a month or so ago for these apps: Xbox TCUI, Xbox Identity Provider, Xbox Game Bar Plugin

I just had this happen with the XBox app as well as Defender, starting 2 days ago.
It was circling, and if I paused and unpaused, it would simply stay circling. Rebooting didn't do squat.
Just checked today, though, and they were paused as I had left them - unpaused and they went on their merry way and installed the updates.
So, for me, it just fixed itself.

Yes, today there was an update in Xbox Game Bar (now in Start Menu it's just called "Game Bar", if you pay attention to it). I think it has been fixed.

I meant after trying to fix it yesterday and the day before, checking today and they installed fine instead of exhibiting the same behavior as before.
Also, mine was not the Game Bar app. Mine was the XBox app itself. And Windows Defender. And it started 2 days ago.

MS mysteries.Now I got an update for "Xbox Game Bar" itself, hopefully that at least fixed the "Plugin" package.
Windows Defender gets updated through the Store? Never seen that. But for me they download and "install" fine, just keeps re-appearing after exactly a day has gone.
