2 Admin accounts - conflicting with games programs

Trying to troubleshoot an issue for my sister. She has had some trouble with her favorite games since having her new laptop set up (Inspiron 2in1) late last year. She keeps getting 'ACCESS Violation" error messages. I loaded the same set of programs on my laptop, logging into the "game manager" for the suite - no errors. I figured it was permissions issues somewhere and noticed she has both her Microsoft account as Admin as well as the Local Account Admin (whereas I do not have both (at lease not visible)) On a lark, I logged her MS account out, and upon startup, chose the Local Admin account. Her game no longer has "ACCESS Violations" and her games load perfectly. How do I allow her MS Adminstrator account to have global abilities - meaning logging into her MS Admin account will enable permissions for all apps she wants to use?

Sorry if I sound like a neophyte, but I got this far and I am stymied! Thanks

I saw that happen with a client and all the files for both Users were in the same folders, couldn't separate them [someone had advised her to create the second account]. Once I got that straightened out I just added the second User with a slightly different name, by one character, no problem then.

not sure i follow. The local admin account does not have access to MS apps like word/excel, nor does it show any of the documents in the hard drive, etc. (when I logged in as local admin, it actually went through an initial set up.)

Any idea how to enable full permissions for the MS administrator account? The games manager apparently wants higher permissions than it currently has!

A Local Account can have either Admin rights or Standard rights. The Standard doesn't have all the abilities as in using programs, installing things or making changes. When installing programs one has to pay attention to All Users or Current User only.

This is an individual's home pc and not complicated with other USERs. Settings/Accounts shows her Microsoft account with 'Admistrator' under her email address. Control Panel User accounts, shows her again as Admin, but "manage another account' both her MS account and the local Account Administrator shows up (Not password protected). Only option is to Create a password or Manage another account.

BTW-When i had logged in as the admin. I was trying to check what accounts had permissions (properties/security) for the the app - it listed "Administrators (desktop-PCMODEL\Administrators) along with others like System, Creator owner, etc. I'm assuming her MS account was included in that generic Administrators line, but in case, I added her email also and gave "Full control". The games are odd in that you have a game manager which lists the individual games you own. you can download new/old, etc and launch each game from the game manager. Individual game will install in program files x86 individually... and in doing they will not execute or launch the game, but display 'Access Violation'. Odd!
