This d.l. came to my laptop yesterday. I successfully installed. Unfortunately now my wordpad no longer works. Any way to fix that? I have a bunch of stuff created using it and none of them will open. thanks.

How to get classic Notepad and Wordpad on (24H2)

For classic Notepad... This is probably the same as the @Brink tutorial... but this is how I did it. AND... double clicking on a text file... opens in the old Notepad...

    Still assembled, still runs. Haven't turned it on for 13 years?
For what I know, Microsoft removed Wordpad from Win 11 24h2.
You may find it under Windows.old where all Win 11 previous installation is.
It should be under C:\windows.old\Program Files (x86)\Windows NT\Accessories
Copy the Accessories folder and paste under C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows NT\Accessories

The Windows.old will only last 10 days from the upgrade and then it will be erased.
