Solved Anyone know how to download an OFFICIAL 23H2 ISO now that 24H2 is out?


Well, I woke up and wasn't even sure if my DL from archive finished. My initial DL on my SP3 from ants didn't work, did 6.2gb of 6.3 and then failed due to network error (even though was DL from archive at same time). DL from ants on another laptop, that worked and just used rufus this morning (it gave the warning about EUFI bootloader but I checked the SHA256 and it matched), all is well in the world of 23H2 now for me. Thank you again all for your help. I hope this thread becomes a #1 result on searches for anyone looking for Windows 11 23H2 - side note, Pro installed which was exactly what I was looking for.

Hi Mama Glass,

Yeah, I sure did, but I got an error during the script that downloads those crummy Windows Apps. The first attempt it just looped trying to download the apps, and then after a redo download, I got another the following error:

I'm sorry @tecknot. I don't have an iso of Win11-23h2 22631.4602. I just found a couple of the earlier versions. By the time windows 11 came out I was no longer working so I didn't download all the isos anymore unless I needed one myself. Unless you need it for a repair install (which requires same or later version), but are clean installing,, try the one for 22631.4541 Select language for Windows 11, version 23H2 (22631.4541) amd64 Then WU would get you to your desired 4602 which is latest version of 23h2.

Now, if you are needing 4602 for a repair install, you may can get around that as well by using the 4531 iso. @Brink please verify this for me. Can't one use an earlier version iso to downgrade and keep his files by using the custom install procedure? Custom Install Windows 11

Thanks for the link. I was hoping to have the latest version/build of 23H2 so I can do a clean install after doing some customization. I will, however, grab that .4541. That's close enough.
