Ist there a list of wallpaper customization applications who are preventing the update to Windows 11 24H2?

On the official Microsoft site there is a description that some wallpaper customization apps are preventing the update, but I don't have any wallpapers apps installed:

But the registry shows that the Safeguard 52754008 is preventing my update.

There are no native apps like that to Windows 11 that I have ever been aware of.

Could you please supply the exact model number of your ASUS which is probably located underneath the laptop.

As far as I understand; The safeguard is generally something to do with Hardware in your system that Microsoft is preventing an update from, due to known issues between the update and your Laptop/PC.

Perhaps run a check to see that your Drivers and BIOS are up to date.

The trick is to find out why your ASUS has one, I am not sure it would be due to an app, but I suppose could possibly be due to a driver that is installed by an app
As for Wallpaper Software. You said you don’t have any. Unless one was installed while you were installing something else, there isn’t a native one to Windows.

Check for Driver and BIOS updates would be my first try.

Someone with more knowledge of Safeguard Holds should hopefully chime in.

You could possibly do an in-place upgrade to jump to 24H2

Disable the internet or tell it to not check for updates, I’d disable the internet. (If you’re doing it via 24H2 media created on a USB)

Option one needs the internet
Option two doesn’t (Uncheck check for updates)
