i was trying to set the priority or fortnite to high but then it said access is denied
Does anyone know why it does that

Are you on an Administrator account?
What is the build version of Windows 11? (type winver in the Taskbar search box)

Try setting the priority to "high" on something like Windows Explorer (explorer.exe)
If that works... then you know it's a Fortnite issue.

Maybe you have to run Fortnite as an Administrator, to be able to Set Priority?

you have to create a reg key to be able to set the priority to high

Also i want to change the affinity of fortnite cpus but its the same thing, does anyone know how?

i dont play pc games, but i read on a forum that for ea games, setting the affinity for origin.exe is inherited by all ea games launched. does epic have its own process that runs when you launch fortnite - can you change the affinity for that, if so?

test this:

run command prompt as admin
type:
Code: 
C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /C START "ProgramName" /high /affinity 1 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Program\ProgramName.exe"

REPLACE: "ProgramName" with the name of the actual exe to open.
REPLACE: 1 with the desired Core

Core 1 is 1
Core 2 is 2
Core 3 is 4
Core 4 is 8
Core 5 is 10
Core 6 is 20

if it works, you can create a shortcut to it to launch the game with the altered Affinity
