I feel sure it also works if you are using a driver ON that list or newer, in post #34.
But if you're using a driver older than those on that list, MS just ignores that registry patch and updates the driver.

I just spent the past 2-3 hours proving this. :)

And we were under the impression the reg fix would do the same thing for Home or Pro for all drivers, and it seems it does make most drivers as optional.

I can't speak on Home; I can only speak on Pro where I know from experience the tutorial works. I'm fact, I don't even get GPU drivers as "optional", they simply aren't downloaded. Anyway, I assume Home would work the same way with the reg hack, but that I have no experience there.

I also can't speak on image restores and other hacks that may counter the tweak. For Windows 11 Pro, the tutorial works.

And I just proved the tutorial works as well. You can argue the rest with the author of the tutorial.

You need to actually READ what I posted. Post #32, 33, 35 for example.
