Yeah, I was going from the post with the image thus the question.

Anyway, for me any CD I buy now automatically gets ripped to PC.

What rip settings/format do you use? Do you fool around with Replay Gain and the like, or do you just do a raw rip?

I'm all about quality cables, but there is a point where I think ridiculousness comes into play. This is one FAR above the bar. I paid $127 dollars for a 10-foot single digital cable, and I thought that was a bit much :unsure:

As I've said before... uncompressed FLAC using dPoweramp.

I don't mess with Gain or other settings. Just insure Accu Rip and HDCD is enabled, change the default compression of FLAC from 5 (middle) to uncompressed (no compression) and go from there. Pretty much a RAW rip.
