OK. Thanks. I never bought any Jarret Albums. Can't say I've heard any of his work. Will have to remedy that.

Anyway, and as a side note, I have an HDTracks account as I've bought hi-res music from them in the past. That said, HDTracks is high. They're asking $29 bucks for this Al Di Meola Saturday Night in San Francisco. Qobuzz is only wanted $21. Same exact files. I've found lots of stuff cheaper on Qobuzz than HDTracks.

Visiting my local used records store for nothing in particular, I came across the very CD you posted about yesterday. But for that, and having previewed it on Spotify, I would have passed it by, but for 6 bucks used I got it. I actually like it (y)

My system is very holographic and detailed, and strings and keys play very well on it with the Senn HD800 S phones....

For me, having, by chance, learned of the story behind the performance, brought the recording to a whole new emotional and historically significant light! If it wasn't for that, I probably would have just considered it another interesting piece of music.

Yeah, I like this album, and you can feel the emotion coming through.

Anyway, I'm now listening to it again, this time through my Hifiman HE1000se planar magnetic headphones and man it literally feels like I'm right there. These headphones are extremely detailed, and their soundstage outstanding. Up there with the Senns.

And..., the entire piece, completely improvised! Huge respect!

My setup is actually built for headphone listening more so for speakers, and why I put a premium on headphones.

BTW, I'm sitting here listening to the Keith Jarrett album again as I find it very relaxing (y)

Yeah, not an in-ear fan at all. Sounds too tiny for me. Anyway, Ear buds are NOT the same as headphones. Completely different sound experience. Anyway, I wear glasses, and they don't hinder but then again, I'm used to wearing headphones with glasses.

Roxio likes their software. It's pretty pricey at just under $70 USD. I assume it's much better than Golden Records?
