My HP laptop has an option in the UEFI firmware to enable the display of battery time remaining. With that option enabled, in Win 10 I will see the estimated runtime remaining when I am on battery, but not in the Win 11 dev build.

I'm trying to determine if there might be any specific HP driver that I need to have installed for this to work. I did do an export of all my Win 10 drivers and imported them all into Win 11.

Just out of curiosity, does this feature work for anyone running win 11 on a laptop?

The five 8TB drives and three 512GB SSDs are part of a DrivePool using StableBit DrivePool software. The three SSDs are devoted purely to caching for the 8TB drives. All of the important data is stored in triplicate so that I can withstand simultaneous failure of 2 disks.

yeah, there is probably a driver / service from HP that hasn't been updated to work with Win11.

It's not HP related. Neither my 2 Dell notebooks, nor my Chuwi tablet show me estimated time - taskbar, quick setting or Battery settings. It's nowhere i can think it could be...

I checked my registry and I have the "EnergyEstimationEnabled=1" setting and I'm not seeing it either (just the percentage).

If anyone figures this out, please let us know!
