This sounds like a typical display driver issue. By any chance is your system a laptop computer? I ask because those are the systems that this most frequently applies to.

If your system is a laptop or a prebuilt system by a company like Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc. I suggest obtaining the latest display driver from that company and installing it rather than the generic drivers from Intel, Nvidia, etc.

I have one laptop where I only get a black screen when coming out of sleep unless I have the drivers from the manufacturer (ASUS) installed.

On another laptop, I have discovered that I MUST install the HP provided driver first, then I can upgrade to the latest generic Intel driver, but only if I upgrade over the HP provided driver.

The five 8TB drives and three 512GB SSDs are part of a DrivePool using StableBit DrivePool software. The three SSDs are devoted purely to caching for the 8TB drives. All of the important data is stored in triplicate so that I can withstand simultaneous failure of 2 disks.

1.I think it's driver issue. But I install, uninstall all drivers still no luck.
2.old labtop, not prebuilt system, I install by myself from uup dump.
3. my gpu is Nvidia 5400M + Intel HD 4000.

It's been a long time since last I install whole system, really forgot why it works before.
But defenitely install gpu driver by myself before, bcv I want to play some games kind of.

R U sure definitely GPU driver's issue? not others?

No, I cannot be certain that a display driver is the issue. What I am simply saying is that the exact symptom you described frequently comes down to that.

In the meantime, could you provide the precise make and model of the laptop? That will help us to lookup info related to that specific system.

Lenovo k49 but 12G RAM model.

Strange thing happened today. I make a schedule to hibernate at PM 5:30 and wake up at 9:30 AM.
It works.
But if sleep in just 1~2 minutes then defenitily blackscreen.

Makes sense. When you hibernate, the system gets shut down whereas when sleeping, the system continues to have power.

I didn't said very clear.
I tried hibernate or sleep manually, after several minutes use schedule to walkup both got blackscreen finally.
but with schedule 5:30pm to hibernate, 9:00am to sleep it works well.
maybe took a long time to take effect? out of my knowledge.
