As for Windows 11, I shouldn't download and install it, remember that I still have it installed on the other hard drive.

The Windows 11 backup image can be restored after the completion of all tests.

During an in place upgrade repair it's important to temporarily detach non-Windows disk drives.

The disk par info and disk management reported C: on disk 0 and EFI and recovery on disk 1.

It's best to have the default partitions on one disk drive.

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

But what is the purpose of updating to Windows 11?

Also, in Windows 10 I have never gotten a blue screen in all this time.

But what is the purpose of updating to Windows 11?

It's a testing opportunity to compare an installation that is on one disk drive instead of two disk drives.

I think I'm just going to go back to my old Windows 11 installation, update both the operating system and the Nvidia drivers, I think this could have been something related to the software (windows or Nvidia drivers)

Thanks for your help, but I've been using Windows 10 for too long and not using my main system.

Deleting the entire hard drive where Windows 10 is installed should be enough to leave everything as it was, right?

Fixing Windows 10 with the earlier commands allows a better comparison.

Then upgrade to 11 and monitor for unexpected shutdowns and restarts with and without BSOD.
