Boot up issue

I'm having a strange issue when the system boots. Most of the time it's fine, MB flash screen quickly followed by the sign in screen. Sometimes however it starts up (I have a Turtle Beach Velocity one Flighstick) that lights up, then lights go off and back on, I then hear the windows tune but the screen stays black. I then have to keep turning the pc off and back on to get it to boot properly, sometimes this involves pressing the delete key, loading MB settings up then simply closing and Hey Presto. Odd thing is I know if its going to boot okay because the lights on the joystick just come on once. Thankfully its not regular but it is a bit of a pain.

Any ideas please

Current version of Windows is 23H2 Build 22631. 3527

Anytime I get a black screen, for whatever reason... I reseat the RAM, first thing.

Yes, reseat it, BUT, only after you clean and polish the gold edge connectors. Dirty or corrupted edge connectors have caused many sticks of ram to test BAD. I've been doing this myself, since the DIMM was first invented.

In extreme cases, I've even washed the ram with soap & water, and SAVED hundreds of sticks of ram in the process.

PS: If all else fails, doing a clean install should fix the problem.

In the Service, we used to clean ALL edge connectors with pencil erasers.
Worked great at getting the tarnish off. ^^
