BSOD Daily - DXGKRNL.sys (caused by ntoskrnl.exe I think)

Hi all,

Any help you guys could provide would be super appreciated. I have no idea why this is happening. For context, I've been getting this bluescreen error several times a day. This is running AMD's most recent optional driver for RX 9070XT, on a clean windows install (by clean install meaning installed via USB and formatted the drives that way).

That's clean Windows install. In this case you need a "Clean Driver Install" - since it's possible for left-overs from previous drivers - to issues conflicts with the latest - causing a BSOD (all your crash dumps are tied to AMD GPU drivers). Thus, before installing the latest drivers - it's sometimes recommended to use a GPU driver cleaner - like DDU or AMD Cleanup Utility. So hey, Download AMD Cleanup Uitility and the latest Recommended driver for your GPU: https://www.amd.com/en/support/down...eon-rx-9000-series/amd-radeon-rx-9070-xt.html

Run the AMD Cleanup Utility 1st - as shown in the guide: https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-601.html

And after all is done and restarted windows - now you can try a clean GPU drivers install. If still having issues... Download GPU-Z Run it, click on Sensors and check Log To Filer (bottom left corner) - while selecting a destination like Desktop (wherever it's easier to find).

Next, download FurMark Downloads - run it and check the GPU temperatures while it's running. If you get a BSOD - you can also check the log-file - for the temps before the BSOD.

PS. As Zbook pointed out - it's more helpful if you follow the BSOD report guide - since it includes further info on the system - like system errors (maybe revealing another culprit) or old driver/BIOS which could solve the issue if updated. The Crash Dump alone is not always enough - tho, sometimes it is.
