BSOD - Stop code ATTEMPTED WRITE TO READONLY MEMORY when installing Windows 11

Then receive this on restart

0xC1900101 - 0x20017


The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation

My laptop is not supported by Windows 11 so I am having to use a work round. It installs on then shows error when it tries to update. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks Matt

Sorry just trying install Windows 11 again 🤞, it installs the Windows Server ok but always fails around 60% on the updates 😤

Files are scanned and read > troubleshooting steps are posted > it's interactive

When available run the V2 log collector and scripts to collect troubleshooting log files.

Then they logon and upload files / folders.
Then they post share links.
The share links can be restricted or open / public.

2) Run the uninstallers for:

Bitdefender
Trend Micro
Spybot

[KB146] Uninstallers (removal tools) for common Windows antivirus software

3) Make sure that Microsoft defender is on.


4) Download Memory integrity system readiness scan tool from Official Microsoft Download Center

5) Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste:
