Successfully converted win 10 Pro to Win 11 Pro today. This manoeuvre bypassed Autopilot but, of course, it's still there. I'll call the original owners tomorrow to see if they can delete the registration remotely without access to the laptop itself.
I’m having the same issue with a Dell Latitude that has autopilot installed when I updated to Windows 11. I have followed your approach and reinstalled Windows 10 Pro (using USB) without connected to the internet. Could you please let me know
1. what happened when you connected to the internet ? Were there any warnings due to auto pilot?
2. How did you eventually update to Windows 11 Pro …did the Windows update feature suggest Windows 11 upgrade or did you use USB again?
3. It has been about 2 months since you have posted this..has there been any issues? I’m unable to contact the company and don’t want to suddenly be locked one day if the autopilot gets activated.
4. Has the laptop been receiving regular Windows 11 Pro updates without any issues?

Appreciate your inputs. Thanks.
