Curious to know if anyone can help me out. I recently downloaded a program called "Hone" to optimize Win 11 a bit. My Mistake. For the most part it worked ok... however... I can't connect to my NAS unit now. Unfortuneately I thought I could restore, but ... to my demise I don't have a restore point. WHen I go to Map the drive, ... I can see it ... but when I input the credentials that I am positive are accurate, it doesnt work. So far what I've tried is Resetting the Network, Flushing DNS, Clearing out the Credentials in Credentials Mangager, verified File and Printer options are checked to share. ANy other things that I can possibly do?

I always use a static IP for my NAS so it won't go wandering off when it's bored. Check in your router to see what the current IP number is and navigate to it via a web browser. You can usually assign an IP number either in the NAS itself or your router.

Thanks for the replies guys! I ended up having to do yet again another fresh install .... I was on with a microsoft agent, he ran through some things that got me no where,.... and I ran into this problem before to be honest, so i went back and reviewd their notes and suggestions, but their final conclusion was that it was a windows issue .... reinstalled... and was able to map no problems
