Keep in mind, that most of the insane security items in the BIOS and in Windows are for high profile users.
Like... Fortune 500 companies, million or billionaires, Wall Street wiz kids, etc.
For the rest of us peasants... no one is going to purposely try to hack us. We just aren't worth the effort.
The basic, common sense security measures are fine for us.
So... run an AV and a firewall, stay off the Dark Web, and just use common sense.
