Previously, I had installed Windows 10, but now when I am doing an Install of Windows 11, the PC restarts after gigabyte boot logo, I have tried creating the ISO from Microsoft as well as using rufus also but nothing is working.
already installed windows 11 on 1 of my other PC with intel i3-4130. and its working good, but don't know whats the issue with this PC. it doesn't get past the gigabyte boot logo. hen using rufus, starting windfws manager appears and then the PC restarts.. needed help.

With Rufus, just before the point it restarts, the flash drive should be pulled.

I checked. The FX-6300 supports the SSE 4.2 instructions, so it should run Win 11 24H2.

I'm not clear on what "angeltdw" is seeing. The PC won't boot from the USB thumb drive at all?

It could be a not supported processor. Did you look into the supported processors list?

I have a Gigabyte GS-970A-DS3 running Win11 with the FX-6300 fine. Some things to check for......Bios settings for it to run Win11. Drive must be set to AHCI and not IDE. Depending on your bios it defaults to IDE. Also check for UEFI settings vs legacy boot.

It's not supported. Hence Rufus.

THIS IS WHAT I AM GETTING WHEN I BOOT WIN 11 USB DRIVE (made using rufus)
after this screen, the pc directly restarts.

tested with media creation tool generated usb as well, and in that just windows blue logo appears, stays there for 2-3 seconds and then restart.

have checked alllt he settings...
secure boot disabled,
ahci mode
uefi boot

win 10 sp2 used to work perfectly.

system: fx-6300 6 core

Something about that screen doesn't seem correct. I do not see that when booting to a Win11 flash drive installer. Matter of fact I took my similar system and downloaded a fresh Win11 ISO using MediaCreationTool. Then created a bootable flash media using the latest Rufus 4.6p(portable). I connected a spare SSD, booted using the newly created flash drive and booted right to the Win11 installer option. Never saw any of this [INFO] boot information you posted.
I am suspecting you have a corrupted bootable media or something. Or some other hardware related issue.

even tried installing using MediaCreationTool ands original win11 iso,
stuck at windows logo adn then restart....

and same usb drive installed on another syste,m....
with intel i3-4130 and it installed successfully...

will try to reset the bios and try again today...and revert

will also try all the tools mentioned @zbook and revert...

well as for the win 10 then upgrade thing..
my win 11 is a custom iso created so need to install that , thats y i want to clean install it.

Remember if you reset the Bios you'll need to go back in and change some of those default settings for it to work with Win11. Unless I'm mistaken Win11 will not work with MBR, needs to be GPT? Also on mine I have Secure Boot "ON" but I don't think that really matters. Win11 just requires a "Secure Boot" capable system.

I noticed on one of the pics posted you show "On Chip SATA Controller" Enabled. Then the next item "On Chip SATA Type" as AHCI. Both correct. However the next item "OnChip SATA Port 4/5 Type" as IDE. That should be set to "As above" or something similar. Not sure if it matters in your specific case but it depends on which SATA ports your drives are connected to. If ports 4/5 are not connected to anything I doubt this setting matters. But!!!!
