My friend Marty (Martin) only shows a slight period of dementia. He use to be a local police officer in a small city next to the town where I live. I love him telling me stories about what he experienced as a police officer. I do have to admit that he aressted a few of my mom's family because of them carrying on because the where drinking. On a better note a couple of them and my dad's uncles were in the local news paper because the paper did an article of those that use to blow glass bottles by mouth.

A wonderful memory of those days is that the announcers were not even AT the ball game. They got the reports on the action by teletype, and they had various recorded sounds to play to complement the action they were reporting on the field. Crowd roars, crowd boos, crowd cheers, ...

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

Try doing sophisticated searches using Bing, with Edge as your default browser, that may precipitate you getting it.

I have 'Copilot with Bing' on all my W10 and W11 computers and on my Android phone. In addition, I still have Copilot (preview) left on my W11 laptop, see screenshot below.

I built a small, 1-tier waterfall in the backyard of my previous property. Head pool, base pool, waterfall therebetween, the head pool was shallow to also act as a birdbath, the base pool was a bit deeper to also act as a (small) fishpond, as part of a rock-and-water garden feature. It was quite nice, but I grew tired of the maintenance of the water feature and converted the whole thing in a rock garden LOL

Try adding this step, creating the key and value if they don't exist, and see if it survives a reboot.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsCopilot - TurnOffWindowsCopilot DWORD set to 0.
