Solved Dark Mode

Strange problem. Recently purchased Surface Pro 11, All applications open as normal except this site which opens in DARK MODE.
Have tried accessibility and Personalisation to solve the problem without success.
Have even deleted and reinstalled Elevenforum but it comes back again in Dark Mode.
What concerns me is if I can change it it may bugger up all my other browsing sites. so I really need the answer purely for this website only.

Try this:
when signed int this site; right click your name, select preference, then under style select dark or system

oh, try this as well
In Preferences, choose: Style > 11F 2025 ...or choose: Style > Flanders.
Then, you can choose: Style variation > Dark

All working properly now....Have not done anything.....someone must have pulled a switch as have been trying to solve this for a couple of days....either that or the fairies have been at work....My Thanks to whoever.

I did not change my preferences - but I got the "dark" page rendition just before thanksgiving. I changed it back in preferences, but I wonder if there was a site patch/update applied that made the change?

The site had an update last weekend, the update had a new system for detecting and changing between light and dark modes of the site.

I need your help as well. Same thing has happened with me. When I go to the Elevenforum site, it is now in Dark Mode, this happened a few days ago. --But when I sign into the Elevenforum site, it was in Dark Mode as well so I have changed it to light mode using the Preferences, choose: Style > 11F 2025.

This is the only site displaying as dark mode ( unless I sign in). Would like to be able to use the Elevenforum site without having to sign in all the time to be able to read the articles in light mode--Help---

Just change the site to light mode using the style variation button at the top of the page.

Just opened this forum before signing in it came in Dark Mode....Why
Yet on signing in it appeared in Light Mode.
ALL other web pages are in Light Mode?

I'm hitting that button by mistake all the time.... They put it right next to the Notifications button...

That's cause you have no eyes.
Just... look at your avatar.

If you hit the button accidentally, just click it again to switch back.

The browser being in dark mode and the theme setting of the pages are two completely different things.

Edge browser is "SYSTEM DEFAULT".
Think have now solved my problem...Originally your site was in Dark Mode on my computer- which I deleted, I then reinstalled it hoping it would solve my problem. BUT the reinstallation was still in Dark Mode, this was before you altered it in Preferences.
So by reinstalling it again, VIOLA.....once again thankyou for your assistance
