Here's a great link for checking if your PC clock is accurate. Time.is - exact time, any time zone

It may be out very slightly if you have high latency. Sometimes, when I check, my PC time is out by several seconds.

Think of the poor Romans - sundials were reasonably ok nearer the equator but incredibly inaccurate in more northern climates depending on time of year.

Why? They may have been unreadable on a cloudy day, but inaccurate?
