Dell OptiPlex 755 in last 2 weeks has started blue screen, mostly within minute or 2 of reboot

Second time I have seen a blue screen appear distorted.

Ever see one like this?

If your PC has less than 4GB of memory, there are sometimes options for upgrading to get additional RAM.
You may want to consult your PC manufacturer’s website or with a retailer to see if there are easy and
affordable options to meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11.

Somebody tested substantially lower RAM:

It has been running win11 fine for years. Doing every update too.
I reseated the memory and video card.

See if you can reseat the RAM as it's uncommon to have multiple malfunctioning RAM modules simultaneously.

If so might be worth buying new memory to get back to 6 or 8gb.
Chances of 2 sticks of ram going bad at the same time are slim IMO but 8 gb kits are available on Amazon for $20.
Spending time and money on a 2007 core 2 duo machine doesn't make much sense to me if one is not sure what component is causing his problem.

One can get an entire used system much newer than yours for next to nothing these days on ebay, many with free shipping. Even if you can't afford a 100% compatible machine, the market is flooded with complete 6th and 7th generation Core machines for $75.
I've gotten 2 fully compatible Optiplexes recently for less than $175. One was an i5-8500 and the other an i5-10500, Both had an m.2 drive & 16 gb ram.

I have a different DDR2 PC I can try these RAM modules in.
The DELL passes all bios tests.

An update, yesterday I put together another PC using 4gb ddr3 mem and an AMD cpu FX6300 which we had unused.

I simply used the built-in DVI mb video port to the monitor. And an EVO870 drive.

That is a different drive and I booted win11 and it works mostly.

But the most recent 2024 5 system update is failing to install, it installs, boots and has to roll it back, saying something went wrong and we don't know what it happened.

Why is that? Will not using a dedicated vid card do that?
MB is MS-7596

I copied over her user folder and added a new user (her), then had to copy it again as the user name is different.
Adding her, windows created a user folder trish.SCOTT-MS7596 folder name.

I diskparted the drive, wiped every partition off and I am running long smart test using Samsung Magician.
And immediately Magician puts a RED Failing LBA line in the upper right corner of that program.
So maybe the drive is going bad, it is less than 5 years old.

I had to hotplug the SATA cable after win11 was booted to read the drive files. If the busted 860 EVO was plugged in but not selected to boot, it prevented windows from booting, constant different weird error messages, blue screens within seconds of booting and those soon vanishing too, just like when it was in the busted DELL OptiPlex.

Magician after another long test said drive has defects and told me to click help, so I will submit a warrantee claim.

EDITING.
Samsung memory services accepted the return and it is currently on the way back to them.
Easiest way to deal with this is start a chat with them.
And they can send you a link to a form to fill out.
Then they will contact you by email for pics, info etc... and if they agree, they will issue an RMA.

Just got the replacement drive from Samsung, an Evo 870, 500gb.
The 860 was not repairable, so got a new drive.

Nice people to work with, since I had done it once before, the process felt smooth.

A lot things happened with that Dell, I still have the pieces. I should try and load Linux on it and see what happens.

'RCL GT zero at system service', then it rebooted.
Sounds a corrupted BSOD, if the text actually was cut off, or random stuff LOL. (BSOD text literally corrupted) Windows was actually saying "IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE" or similar. It's an infrequent stop error code, according to Microsoft.
