This is kind of related. I don’t know how this thread ends as I left the conversation half way through. But I think it’s worth a look at.

Someone here would know where the WiFi and password are retained as far as Windows goes. Pretty sure it’s just a new Windows capability. Probably takes your Router out back and beats the crap out of it until it spills the beans?

My modem router was damaged in a thunderstorm with nearby lightning. My ISP very quickly sent me a new one. It's the same model but the default SSID and password are different. I had to give these to our phones and laptops to enable them to connect. But here's the strange thing, My Canon...

As far as I know, Mike, the sync settings in a Microsoft Account also syncs your Wifi Passwords.

Okay. I didn't think that transferred between installs, but it would have to if it's based on the Windows online account.

Makes sense. I've created the boot USB from the Windows Media Creation tool. I'm trying to look for how to reboot from the USB.

I’d guess there is an Function key F11 or F12 maybe, to open the boot selection. Possibly an entry in your BIOS. I cant check your Motherboard right now. Someone will know.

I think not.

As far as I can tell, the 7600X does not include an NPU.

That works. Each time I've downloaded it, the file hasn't downloaded completely. I've only downloaded it successfully once. But I deleted it.
