This tutorial will show you how to disable the Microsoft Edge prompt asking to be the default browser for your account or all users in Windows 10 and Windows 11.
The Microsoft Edge web browser is based on Chromium and was released on January 15, 2020. It is compatible with all supported versions of Windows, and macOS. With speed, performance, best in class compatibility for websites and extensions, and built-in privacy and security features.
Occasionally, Microsoft Edge will automatically check if it's the default browser and will prompt you to make it the default browser if it's not.
If you find this as a nag, you can disable the "Set Microsoft Edge as your default browser" prompt without having to set Microsoft Edge as your default browser.
