I have Surface Pro tablet, and often use it with the keyboard disconnected (I control it via remote mouse and keyboard). The problem is when I use touch input the thing wants to present me with an onscreen keyboard. Very annoying. Does anyone have a solution for this?
Thanks.

edit:
Yes I've googled and asked an AI many times. As far as I know, I have done what I can in settings menu to disable onscreen keyboard.

Hi Denis,
Thanks for your reply! It seems that I actually meant "Touch Keyboard" :-) The link you provided looked very promising, but when I tried that Never_Show_the_touch_keyboard.reg registry mod it did nothing. That should have been valid for builds below 25188+. I have build 22621. If I touch screen at any text field the touch keyboard will pop up and cover half the screen. I may try enabling developer mode to get newer builds to see if that will help.

edit: I now joined the insider program, and enabled beta releases. Build version is now 22624. Registry edit now disabling touch keyboard!

Good.
I had been going to suggest posting in the tutorial thread to ask Brink's advice but if you are happy to be on the Insider programme then all's well already.

All the best,
Denis
