Does anyone know how to disable the run dialog when I open certain apps? Thanks very much.

You can follow this tutorial.

But it's generally considered a bad security practice to disable the UAC prompt, since it might protect you from unintentionally running malware.

If you have UAC disabled, then Windows has blocked the file because it was downloaded from an untrusted source.

User Account Control (UAC) protects your system from malware and unwanted system changes, it would be good idea to not disable UAC protection.

Create a task to run the app, then create a shortcut (or modify the existing one) to run the task.

    …still on a horse.
If it is for files downloaded from the internet among other thing (and there is the "unblock" option in the properties)
I have been using this for a very long time and never had a run dialog (to see if it is still relevant, but not this window)
