Thanks for the ideas. Consumer protection laws exist, but the dealer/distributor network are notorious for stonewalling our access to OEM because of how much paperwork they need to fill for the OEM while requesting for swap/replacement parts etc. They also have to foot the shipping fees (and it's mostly international for us) and so are loathe to do it, ulness they can club many together etc. Usually, if they can replicate the error immediately they usually help, but it's not so in my case, and they usually have volumes of cases so out of sight becomes out of mind.
Even if we use social media to bypass them and get OEM's attention to our problem, they eventually refer us to local distributor to help ship it back. Now we are back at the mercy of an irate, antagonised distributor. I will speak to my repair guy and find a way to navigate the system quickly. Thank you.
