When I had a new installation of Windows 11 with version 23H2 (build: 22631.3788), possibly the latest one, and converted via UUP Dump, and then to the ISO image before installation. I had ISO. The Windows Setup and OOBE processes went well. 3 days ago I received an update to version 22631.3810. After the update; then, when I wanted to check it and enter the SFC /Scannow command, it showed that "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them" and "The system file repair changes will take effect after the next reboot". I had to restart it otherwise DISM wouldn't let me repair the component store. I wanted to know what the status of the component store is because I thought that after this update, files or folders might be added to WinSxS during Windows updates. It turns out that wasn't the case. Using DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth it said that "The operation was completed successfully".
But when I run the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, the error is 0x800f081f (The source files could not be found.
Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see Configure a Windows Repair Source). I performed some repair actions from the sites:
1. Click Computer Configuration, click Administrative Templates, click System, and then double-click the Specify settings for optional component installation and component repair settings. I set it to Enabled and to download from Windows Update, not WSUS. Doesn't work.
2. I checked the system services (services.msc) after Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS), Update Coordinator Service (UsoSvc), Application Identity (AppIDSvc), Windows Update (wuauserv) and it is also not working, intact set by fresh installation.
I recently did an installation on June 20, 2024. I have no idea what could be causing it to work still and I'm wasting a lot of time, even two days. I don't want to reinstall the system again. I'm looking for suggested repairs from the sites, but I don't find anything new. I can provide the entire "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log" and "C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\DISM.log" log files to the website or via Google Drive for analysis.
Is there anything else that can be fixed?
