Does anyone have the same problem?

I find most Window Error Reporting events in Event Viewer. I observed that it always reports events when starting the system, and there is no application specified in the event content.

I didn't notice any app crashes and no problems with the system. But events of unknown type 0 are always reported in the Event Viewer.

BTW: This event does not happen in the VM.

Removing the GPU, without the driver, will also report this event. However reporting this event, I did not notice any app crashes. Very weird.

V2 log > KUO2-(2024-06-21_07-46-55).zip

I clean install Windows 11 24H2 Build 26100.994 again. Still have this error report. But there is no black screen and no app crash seen.

I tried to open "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue", but I don't have permission. So I use PowerRun to open the folder and copy all files. Kernel_1a8_1b8_dmp.7z

I have two PCs with this error reported, both happening on Windows 11 24H2. Windows 11 23H2/22H2/21H2 and Windows 10 do not have this error reported.

This "error reported" only occurs when starting the system.

1) If possible, clean install Windows 11 using English as the default language > use the computer for one week > post a new V2



2) Upgrade the BIOS: 3402 > 3607

I've found the reason. This is just a meaningless error report that is queued in the system waiting to be uploaded to Microsoft, and it doesn't actually do anything. If I clear C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\WER\ReportQueue, this LiveKernelEvent error report will no longer be generated.

If you clean WER it will be empty until whatever triggered the prior WER creates a new entry. (Unless it was fixed).

I haven't seen this incident reported in 5 days.

I have cleared these event queue files on both computers and this event is no longer reported every time the system is started.
