dupeGuru Retrieval

Is there anyone who is familiar enough with the dupeGuru app to help me retrieve music files that got deleted when I used this app?

I'm not familiar with the tool, but it likely just calls a file delete based on the operating system, so you would need to use a recovery tool to get your files back if you do not retain a backup.

*NOTE* You will want to recover the files to a different physical disk otherwise you risk being unable to recover files. Also the longer you wait (meaning the more data that is written to the disk, the higher the chance of files not being recovered)

Most duplicate deletion programs are not intended for recovery, although many have option settings in the delete process to either just move the dupes somewhere else (another folder) or delete them.

As indicated above @neemobeer , you'll need a separate program for the recovery process, which may or not be viable, it depends on how the dupe program handles the deletion process, and ho0w much (other) activity has happened on the target drive
