Gaming Enable or Disable Minimize Xbox app to Taskbar System Tray at Startup in Windows 11

This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off minimize the Xbox app as a notification icon to the taskbar system tray at startup for your account in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

The Xbox app for Windows is where you can go to play and manage PC gaming content on your Windows device. Whether you’re an Xbox Game Pass member, or you’ve bought titles from the Microsoft Store, your games await in the app.

When you have the Xbox app set to automatically run at startup, you can turn on or off having the Xbox app launched minimized to the system tray at startup.

3 Click/tap on App in the left pane of Settings. (see screenshot below step 4)

4 Under Startup settings, turn on (default) or off Launch minimized to system tray for what you want. (see screenshot below)

It is required to turn on Launch Xbox when I start my computer to have the Launch minimized to system tray setting available.

5 You can now close Settings if you like.

That's it,
