Hello.
I am on latest Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26100.3775
I have wondered why this behavior even exist.
If i have it sorted by Name and have it all the way up and change it to Date Created, the focus goes to above or under of all files and folders combined, if looking at the up/down drag slider.
Why doesn't the slider stays where i was located (dragged slider up most position), no it loosing focus on the sort method and moves it to some pre-programmed position on the slider, like 33% and this sick behavior is also happening if you just pressing on like Name, Date Modified, Date Created, tow times, it changes between 33% and 66% of the slider scale.
The focus should really be that the slider stays firm and file / folder sorting to your liking, why do i need to slide it back all the way up?
Why hasn't MS being able to give any setting for that behavior?
Or have i missed some crucial setting to have the sorting to stay where i am in the list of all files, and view normal way when pressing Name for example, without jumping to 33/66%. That has annoyed me for several years and all windows versions ever since 95.
Thanks in advance
