I know what my machine is more than capable of, performance wise, no matter what I throw at it..., I checked it once, about 5 or 6 years ago!!!

Incidentally, those 3 gadgets I posted about earlier were pulling almost as much memory as my entire browser does at idle! 🤷‍♂️

No offense taken, just making a point that probably no two people here have matching desktops unless they just powered up brand new computers right out of the box lol.

After I installed either 8GadgetPack 37.0 or GadgetPack 38.0 my old gadgets were still there.
I have added a few old gadgets that were from the Windows 7 days but were never included in GadgetPack. For example:
Core Temp gadget: hasn't changed in maybe 10 years. However, the Core Temp app that it gets its data from has been updated regularly.
My Weather gadget: It gets updated every month or two. The current version is 8.2.4 (Jan 2025)

I use the gadgets for a quick look at the time and date. That is once or twice a day since usually I have open applications hiding them and I have to minimize everything. But I mostly want them because I don't like when a new Windows version removes features from an older version. Similarly I have Windows Media Center installed but hardly use it.
