Why do I have to sign in in Outlook.live.com everytime when I want to see my email ?? ( in Edge )
Strange , coz my second PC is not asking for sign in ............ :unsure:

If you use CCleaner to handle cookies... that's easy to do.

1. Close all browsers and close Outlook, then run CCleaner's Custom Clean.
2. Then open Outlook and log in.
3. Then open CCleaner and go to Options > Cookies.
4. The only cookies you'll see (on the left side), will be the Outlook cookies.
5. Move them to the right side so CCleaner ignores them next time.




If you use the browser to clean the cookies... each browser has a white list of some sort.
You'll need to add the Outlook cookies to that white list. So that when you tell the browser to clean the cookies,
it will skip those.

Either way... CCleaner or browser... it will work.
I use the CCleaner method for all the sites that I want to remember my log in. :-)



Side Note: Some "site's" log in pages... have a check box that you can check mark, to "stay logged in".
Also... some programs, like browsers, will have a setting to "clear cookies on shut down".
You should probably disable that, until you get a white list, set up.

Completely uninstalled/removed the Copilot from my system , has it anything to do with Outlook.live.com ? ?

Forget Outlook, use Blue Mail. It's in the MS Store. Works great.(y):thumbsup:

When I try to connect to outlook directly, it redirects to microsoft, I am logged out, with saved cookies.
When I try to connect via edge (manage account, passkey), I am logged in, even with no cookies saved.

I tried to solve this problem for months, I never did. I believe it is a security feature to prevent hackers from stealing sessions. If you use MSA in Windows, 11 uses passkey by default, but if you use a local account, outlook will most likely use cookies instead, like a separate login. Outlook is designed to be used with an email client. I suggest you try Outlook new, it is pretty good, I use Bluemail.

No idea as I don't use it. I simply Googled it and put the link in the thread. If you Google 'Blue Mail reviews' you may find some more info, heck it's why Google was created so you can, you know, search for things.

It is pretty much the same, but I like notifications better.

No and logging in is pretty simple, type the email, confirm OAuth2 and done.
Outlook client does not support 3rd party email, so I have no choice anyway.

Seems Copilot is the cullprit (??) , other machine has a Copilot-cookie , and not asking for sign in everytime !
My " sign in" machine has not , coz I uninstalled/disabled Copilot on this PC...........

Does Copilot interfere in Outlook.live.com , do you always have to sign in , after completely removing Copilot ..................??? :unsure:

Couple peeves with BlueMail:
- won't open to the size and position I left it at,
- won't open a .eml in it's own read window.
