Solved How to recover desktop background image in Windows 11 Pro?

Hi all,
so I upgraded to Windows 11 Pro not too long ago, and I found a REALLY nice desktop image off Google images. Well, I wanted to show somebody that image and I wasn't able to because I had deleted the original image in the past. The desktop wallpaper has been the same ever since I deleted the image, so it must be saved somewhere else?.

I cannot find any tutorial online that explains how to recover the desktop image file. I can't even find the original off of Google Images anymore... does anyone know how I can recover the image file?. Thanks in advance.

You can use the context menu added by the tutorial below to find the current desktop background file location.

So I actually figured this one out the hard way, doing a little more research helped me solve this problem. I searched on Google a bit more and found this tutorial:

It's actually a pretty big article on that link so scroll down to the tutorial called "How to Find Your Desktop Wallpaper’s Location With the Registry Editor" and follow the directions. It will open the image with any program you want to use and you can save it to any folder from there. Here is the image I wanted to save... it's attached to this post.
