Ok so just this week I plugged in my samsung portable T7 SSD to copy some files to it. Its brand new nothing wrong with it. But for the first time when i went to eject the drive via settings it throws me the cannot eject it close other programs error warning. Anyway I just pulled it out. Stills has my data on it I checked. But today I went into Disk Management to check and try to eject it that way and I have this. What does this mean and what do I do? There is NO disk 0 showing in the table. Do I click OK to Initialize a disk 0 and if yes Do I do GPT or MBR. Now the weird thing about it showing this and this is the only thing I can think this is in regards to. I had Aomei Backupper INstalled for a few months doing backups, then a recent, like a month ago, windows update botched my PC when I would start my PC up for the day i had a blue screen error stating windows couldnt start up properly yaddie yah. Well i just clicked start windows normally button and it worked BUT, I deleted Aomei and went into I think it was task scheduler or something and deleted Aomei from there. Now since my PC starts normal without first seeing the blue recovery screen upon startup. Now it goes straight to my desktop. So didnt think anything of it. well now today as I said I went into Disk Management and this is what popped up...? I DO NOT want to reinstall my system etc, wayyy to much to lose. I can ignore it as my pc works fine just this shows when i went in here and I dont know why or what it even means. But on threads I was reading during my time of the Aomei windows error people were saying I would need to reset the Master Boot Record. Now look at the screenshot. I got MBR or GPT as options, do you think thas what its from was my Aomei error thing going on? Please help me know what to do now..thank you ahead for anyone who can help me.

Edit: I also Just clicked rescan disks in disk management. It shows disk 0 as Unknown and Unallocated and shows 1.8 tb of unused space. I now remember i have 3 SSDs(1 - 4TB, 2 - 2TB) and also 1 very old HDD 2TB drive, Im guessing that is the 2TB HDD I do not use and used to NOT even show up in my disk management section. I rebuilt my PC last year with those 3 New SSDs and I did not pull out the HDD its still in there. So im guessing thats it and I can just either ignore that message or Pull it out.

Ok well apparently I did a little research and I did just try to do the GPT and it gave me an error. So I did MBR and it worked. Now Disk 0 shows in the Disk Management table as healthy active and 2048mb . So I guess I fixed it on my own, Anyway thanks Ill mark as solved..

A quick search regarding MBR and GPT uses gave this result:
To choose between GPT and MBR when initializing a disk, you should consider the following1234:
  • To create more than 4 primary partitions, choose GPT.
  • To manage disk over 2TB, GPT is better.
  • To enhance data security and easy data recovery, go for GPT.
  • If the disk is smaller than 2TB, you might as well initialize it to MBR.
  • If the disk is over 2 TB, GPT will be better because you can utilize all disk space.
  • If your mainboard is new and it supports UEFI, GPT can be your choice.
  • If your old mainboard is using the old BIOS system, MBR will be better because the old BIOS don’t support GPT partition volumes.
And as to the question (my question) of "What does "Initialize a disk" do in Windows Disk Managment?", I found the following article:

Hope this helps,
