My laptop started to misbehave. First, the Brave browser would shut down after two minutes. Then the wifi stopped working. SFC /SCANNOW found and fixed to corrupt files. But still no wifi. I ran DISM................scanhealth and it found no corruption. A repair install of Windows did not fix it. So I booted into Ubuntu and the wifi worked fine, so I knew it was a Windows problem. In Device Manager, I disabled and then re-enabled the wifi card and voila! All BTN. I guess this must have corrected or reset a registry entry.
I hope this helps someone else.
