Is it just me or is Win11 becoming Win10 all over again?

Windows 11 Pro (x64) 24H2 build 26100.2314
Been around since Win98 and earlier and have used almost every Windows version. (1989 to present)
Fast forward to April 2024 and it seems Win11 with all it's somewhat buggy updates is slowing my system down especially on startup.

I know what you may say is check what else may be starting up and causing the slowdown on bootup.
All my drivers are as MS wants with no ! points on anything.
No new hardware or software and try to maintain a nice clean efficient C: Drive.

So my point is how MS proclaimed Win11 will be the best and fastest OS ever but in the past few months with many updates to whatever they sent me things are getting slower like way back in the 20th Century.

Seems programming has been come bloated and wastes so much it is getting way too complicated for and reasonable i5 ir i7 proicessor to work fast and efficient.

Yes Win11 is starting to sound like Win7, or Win10. Buggy and becoming bloated and useless for everyday NON-Power User.
I guess the only answer will be upgrade to an Intel i15 with 128GB of memory as bare minimum and a SSD that can read and write 10 times faster than today.

So what are your feelings and how win11 will evolve beyond 2025 to the common every day users?
Will our next computers be a $10k system 100% from China?

Will be interesting to hear from others on your thought.
I will now step off my soapbox to listen.

Thank you,
Iggy

Not sure of what relevance that has. I’ve been around since DOS just said rubbish and allowed you to type “Hello” or create a list of books in the prison library that were stored on a floppy disk as large as a Volkswagen 😄
Let me inform you now that Windows 11 is faster than DOS 🤣

I guess the only answer will be upgrade to an Intel i15 with 128GB of memory as bare minimum and a SSD that can read and write 10 times faster than today.
Do you mean i5? And yes, Windows 11 was open from the begining that you would be better to use a faster PC. No 128Gb of RAM isn’t needed but a faster CPU/Motherboard is. Just because Windows 11 can run on old machines, it doesn’t mean it should.

So what are your feelings and how win11 will evolve beyond 2025
Windows 12. That is the future of Windows. Be prepared to upgrade or reap the consiquences of a slower system yet again. Or go back to using Windows 10.

What does China have to do with anything?

There has been a lot of ranting about Windows 11 lately. Is your PC not Windows compatable? You were forced to use work arounds to install Windows 11? Surely that told you something.
Perhaps whatever you have installed in the way of software, is slowing you down?

My PC I built in 2014, I find that Windows 11 runs fine.

Progress… The system you have now is faster than the system you used when you ran Windows 98. So with that stepping stone in mind, whats the difference to that, and jumping from Windows 10 to Windows 12?

Windows 11 runs quite well for me on multiple pc's I own. Not sure why people find it slow.
