Tempting as it is to take the car for a spin I'll have to forego that pleasure. The car has been sitting on the drive, baking in the sun all day. I'm not sure I could face sitting in a sauna waiting for the A/C to get up to speed ;)

Looks like I'll be able to open all the windows by 9pm tonight.

At the mid-afternoon peak it was 30°C / 86°F in the shade outside, sitting indoors in a darkened room it was a more comfortable 24.5°C / 76°F. Tonight's forecast low is 17°C / 63°F, I've set my alarm to wake me before dawn so that I can get up, shut all the windows, and trap all that cool air in the house for as long as possible.

His particular favourites were frozen peas, which I would give him whenever I as cooking some for myself, and frozen sausages, which he'd steal from the freezer when my back was turned. He was so adept at opening the door of my vertical freezer that I took to Duct taping it shut overnight.....

My nephew's dog is stupid. He was given a treat to keep him occupied because he was being a pest. He took it outside and sat in the sun to chew it for about 15 mins. Came back in panting emptied his bowl of water and lay down in front of the fan to cool off.

We hit 28.6C and there was a quite a nice breeze at times but it soon got over powered though. I shall be up at 5 am to feed the foxes so I may just walk Bob then and stay up. It is amazing what you see having a quiet walk around the woods nice and early

I've always bought Dobermans, never had a rescue dog. I did adopt one of my Dobermans, because they were looking to get rid of her. They had a small ankle bitter and didn't want there Dobie. Was suppose to be free, but when I got there they asked me for 50 bucks. I paid them the 50 bucks and took her home. Her name was Bella , ended up being one of my smartest dogs.
