Yes, I had choice - upgrade with potential Hyper-V configuration to re-do , or take the serial upgrade route. As it turns out, Vanassa is very Hyper-V aware, not only does 21 have a proper display driver for hyper-v but it also can respond correctly to the shut down button in the Hyper-V console.

Just a quick fly-by to say the chemo passed off as uneventfully as before, and that the rest of the afternoon was more 'quality time' with my daughter. This time we took a long walk on some favourite local footpaths in the autumn sunshine.

She was aware that she should be ready to leave by 6:00pm (BST) when Patch Tuesday started. This is the first break I've had since then, and it's back to work again for me. Two down and half a dozen more to go.

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all doing well. I have had a break from computers, firstly upgrading to 22H2 left both of my machines riddled with problems and things to change back, settings to find in the registry and change etc. I still cannot get my Alienware control centre to work correctly as UWP suspends it at startup. that was a day of my life wasted. Also all this stuff about the "likes" put me off some what when I saw some of the comments. Anyway I am still around. still working on the patio but well over 33/4 done now. have fun everyone

Hi Rod, sorry to hear that 22H2 gave you grief. Both my supported devices waited for it to be offered through Windows Update and came through unscathed.

Any full Feature Update like this one was (new system files and a Windows.old folder), whether for 10 or 11, invariably resets a few things back to their defaults, but I have a little list and soon set everything back the way I wanted them.
